In the past two days, the guy I really care for told me that while he does care for me, it is not the way that I care for him. He said that has been told that he has a big brother complex, and that he veiws me as his sister. He zalso does not want the relationship we have to change, because we tell each other everything. He told me that he would rather tell me straight out that he does not care for me like that than to lead me on and use me as a Plan B. While I was very disheartened, at least I know that I will always have a very close friend that I can count on.

Today I went to the Rock Band competition (the game) and the college's gaming club (which I attend) won, fuck yes. We got over a million points on one song, hellz yeah. Anyway... Right now the anime club is going on and they are watching Poke'mon: The First Movie. I sort of want to watch it and I sort of don't. I have a drawing project due tomorrow, and 3DCMP project due Thursday and a paper dude in two weeks. Holy shit. Anyway, I guess that I'll talk to you guys later. At least I'm starting to type a lot faster and more accurately even though I technically chicken peck.

Anyway... A whole bunch of shit has been going on, what with multiple projects going on at the same time, having heart to heart sessions with friends, and general holy-shit-what-the-fuck moments, stop the insanity, cats and dogs living together, mass hysteria.

Okay, maybe not that bad, but still.

I worked 19 hours on one project and got jack shit done on it. On another, I did it perfectly, but forgot to do the damn shadow of the object before I threw it away, and now it's ghone forever (crumplked paper). Holy shit. Art sucks.

In my English class, I got and 85 on a papaer, and in History I made an 84 on a test. Fuck yes, moving on up. My last grades for those classes were C's. Nowhere to go but higher (and then crash and burn, but that's besides the point.). I'm running on 4 hours of sleep :D

How are you guys doing/ I'm sure thta you havce the same shit going on XD I really want to write some Re-Animator fan-fiction, but I need to get my laptop back first because it crashed, and my mom is taking it to get fixed.

Seriously though, tell me how you guys are.

How I feel inside
The pain churning in waves
pretending that everything's okay
It's always been that way

When I was young it was plain to see
Plain to see when I was down
but now I've gone down so far
There's no way back

The pain continues as we grow
to converge into a more consolidated pain
Deeper and deeper
farther and farther
It's always been that way

No one really knows

Well, I have to go and see that damn psych again tomorrow. I hate doing it, because all she does is ask me stupid fucking questions, and I don't really like going places in the first place. It was torture just getting ready to drive down to my college yesterday. But, I need the sessions. Life sucks that way. At least I have The Wall from the Floyd...

I'm e-mailing and chatting with one of the friends I met yesterday, so that's something good...and then on Saturday, my old high school is having that clean-up thing they have every once in a while that I want to go to.

I half-watched another Crispin Glover movie called Drop-Dead-Sexy where he and the dude from My Name is Earl steal the body of a rich man's wife and try to ransom it so they can pay off someone they used to work with (yeah, they're crooks). Crispin has a nice funny little accent that I've never heard before. I mean, it's Southern, but ..... not. Cool though. So far, the flick is a three. I'll have to rewatch it to rate it accurately.

Lotsa friends on Orientation Day

  • Jul. 22nd, 2009 at 7:17 PM
kyouyaxhahruhi

Went to my college orientation, and lo and behold, made four new friends (technically 3). They are DaQuon (Dairy Queen/DQ), William (Mills), and Tyler. There's only one girl; I think her name is Victoria. I didn't really talk to her, but she was nice.

DaQuon is a lot of fun, and Mills has a cool accent. All of the boys have a love for video games, so I consider myself lucky. DaQuon is from New York, while Mills is from here, but has lived in Georgia and North Carolina, which proves for a very cool accent. He looks a bit like Daniel Radcliffe. DQ is cool, he acts a lot like my friend Daniel from high school. I honestly don't know where Tyler is from.

Mills kind of drifted off towards the end of the day, as did the others because we all had to go and sign up for our classes, but I caught up with DQ and Tyler at the end of the day.

My housing residence is right next to the caf - lucky!!! Never again shall I have to worry about finding it. Then again, I won't be able to find anything else DX I have a horrible sense of direction, but a pretty good memory. Which doesn't make much sense.

Anywho, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle - I must watch it.

I'm majoring in art, and got my ID and shit. Swapped emails with my buddies so we can still talk before school starts. On the night I move in, my school is playing Inkheart on it's tv channel. I frickin' LOVE that movie. Bredan Fraiser, yum. I'm done know.

.....Do you guys want me to tell you what the dorms are like when I move in? I'm sure I could get someone to loan me their compy for a few minutes to talk to you guys.

Crispin Glover = <><><><><><><><><><>!!!!!!!!

While being a neat movie on it's own, Crispin Glover made me love it that much more. Because Crispin Glover is hot. And extremely badass in this flick. Bill Murray is nice comic relief, and I'm pretty sure that the kid from the "Why don't you get a job" Offspring video is the kid in the drive-thru. If I go on, I'll just end up squeeing over Crispin's absolute hotness, no matter his age, so off I go to try and get myself some screen caps. Woot!

The only thing that keeps it from getting a five is the overuse of wires. If your going to make the girls do acrobatic moves, don't make them defy gravity, k thanks.

Btw, I got Young Guns II for free today! (Very lucky.) Christian Slater, haaaah. I got it while I was trying to get soemthing filled out for my college. My orientation is tomorrow and I move into my dorm on August 26th. Meep.

Coraline = <> <> <> <> <>!

I read the book when the movie came out, and I loved it. So, I decided to watch the movie, which is what I'm doing now. The sets are awesome, even thought the tunnel between the two worlds is a bit cartoony to me, I personally believe it should have been a muddy, darkish tunnel if they went that direction. In the story, I believe that it was a long hallway, and that the door was not three feet tall.

Anyway, the sets are wonderful, as I said, especially the garden (in both worlds). It's pretty fun so far, and the addition of an extra character seems to have done the film good so far. The only thing I would change about Coraline is that I would give her dark hair, seeing as this is Neil Gaiman and that was how I imagined her. Neil Gaiman is the shit. Another good book to read by him is The Graveyard Book.

More on the movie when I finish it.

My rating will be next to the title of this post when I finish the movie. Crystal style! : <>

-------------------------------

DUDE. (And LADY). That movie was the shit!!! EVen though I'd read the story and knew what to expect, that movie still made me jump, when Coraline was in the final battle with the "other mother". I was close to hyperventilating on some of the end, lol. My take: HAven't seen it? What the hell is wrong with you?!?! See it!!

I've been seeing a psych for my problem, yeah. She thinks that the reason for my problem is a resurfacing of problems from when I was abused, which makes a little bit of sense. She and mom also think that the reason I hate girl shit like dresses and makeup is because I have a subconscious fear of drawing attention from the opposite sex. That also makes sense. However, I can justify the hating makeup - It's a waste of my time and money, because it's such a waste to spend all that time putting on something that you have to wash off at the end of the day anyway. I have a headache.

Back to happier thoughts....

Weyoun 5 is so cute, he's like a little hyperactive kid :) "Hyperactive when I'm small, hyperactive now I'm tall....."

Oh yeah, there's this thing online one of my local friends showed me called swaptree.com. You can trade the books, games and video games you no longer want for soemthing you do want with other people. I'm lucky, because someone offered mea copy of Thomas Dolby's Astronauts & Heretics for one of my books :D It's friggin awesome, and that album has a lot of the songs I like :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Huzzah! Talk hard!!!!

I bought myself a copy of Pump Up The Volume, starring Christian Slater. I ordered it from the library recently and loved it.

Remember the copy that I told you guys about? The one teach waved in my face to annoy me? That's the same one I bought. That happened about a month ago, and I went into the store today and it was still in the same place. It's like it was meant to be :3 Christian Slater for the win!!! :D

And anyway...not much to talk about besides that, aside from the fact that Grandma ordered The Skin of Our Teeth, because I couldn't get it at a library, and she enjoyed it. She said that she wished I had told her Jeffrey Combs was in it, because she didn't realize that it was him until near the end of the third act. She said that she could have been watching for him. She liked it because she enjoys plays, but my grandpa didn't. Have I made a fan out of my grandmother? Who knows, maybe.

I also saw Death Falls yesterday. Now...I don't like westerns. At all. So this was a stretch. I don't like the way they're filmed, I don't like the way they sound. So....it was okay. I didn't really pay attention to it, because I wanted to get past the damn horses running around. Jeff's character is kind of odd, though entertaining. Whoo! "Don't laugh Roge, this is serious shit." When my little sister heard him say "Aye aye asshole" she burst into laughter. She said "That's a funny man". Yes, yes he is.

Yeah. I read some letters mom wrote to my godmother while she was in the hospital after giving birth to me. She put the wrong year because she was so out of it from the meds. XD They were in a bunch of me and my twin brother's baby stuff (cards 'n shit).

Went to see my friend Larry the magician perform for the kids at the Summer Reading Club for the library - he's got this great new gadget the kids loved. I also got a chance to see one of my high school friends that graduated the year before I did. She looked so grown up, I barely recognized her!!!! She said that my brother and I looked grown up as well. Overall, an okay day.
